The client was at the shop a few years ago, he got a matchstick tattoo. He came back this year for a touch-up and to add pineapple tattoos. Return customers, especially those who come back after a few years of being away, are what keep this shop running.
I made this original drawing for my friend Seamus. It was really exciting to finally get the first session into his skin. The line work is complete, and he will be back as soon as he heals to complete the shading work. I dig this tattoo.
Love this woman. Today is my wife’s birthday. We have been working so much lately, the two of us are killing it. Together we have built a fantastic studio. I am so deeply in love with you Athena, mahalo for our life together.
The sigil 'Ha" is the breath of life, the first word spoken by man, and subsequently god's breath. Those collective descriptions mean "creative beginnings" and metaphors the swirling of breath and the universe, the micro and the macro. It is a sigil that I use in virtually every Polynesian tattoo.
