It’s pretty nice to be able to walk down to one of my favorite beaches with the family and watch a sunset to complete the day.  We have been really busy lately, and these sunsets keep me full of energy, knowing that all of this hard work is so I can do this right here.

Lotus Flower for an Old Friend

My friend Ann graduated from her masters in metalworking so she took a vacation to big island and then a few days here on Maui with us.  We took a few days off and enjoyed Maui beaches and had fun.  I made this for her, and I love this tattoo.  I have known Ann for over 20 years, really all my friends I have are from 20 or more years ago.  We never lose contact from one another, and I cherish that.  

Congratulations Ann, I can't wait to see what you create after a year of teaching.
