One last tattoo for the year. I had a very busy day for the end of 2019. I tattooed all day and this is my favorite tattoo of the day. It is simple, clean and was really fun.

This client was here during whale season a while ago, and she came back for a summer trip to get a tattoo. She planned her trip around getting a tattoo from me. Very cool.

I made this original drawing for my friend Seamus. It was really exciting to finally get the first session into his skin. The line work is complete, and he will be back as soon as he heals to complete the shading work. I dig this tattoo.

Humpback Whale
Every winter the Humpback whales come to Maui to breed and give birth. The Pacific Whale Foundation has detailed information on the whales migration schedule. Here on the west side of Maui I can see the whales every day from the beach. They are really something special to watch and you must take the time to just observe them. During whale season I make a whale tattoo every week.

Polynesian (tribal) Whale Tattoo
I started a large project today. My client comes back every year and wanted to work from his back to his wrist with Polynesian tribal black work. He committed to the length of the project. Here is the 1st session.
