Red Ginger

My regular client is back for another session of Maui flowers on her arm.  Today we added a red ginger flower.  This is a long project, she only comes in for one flower at a time, and she picks the flower as we go, so it is going to take us a while until we are done.

Kula Thanksgiving

Every year we go up to Kula to spend the holidays with family.  Our Maui family is genuinely the people we care about.  We had a freaking awesome time.  I love going up to Kula, it is beautiful up the mountian.  Athena and I have had an amazing year so far, and we both are very thankful for everything happening in our lives.

This is the view up in Kula.  We can see both sides of central Maui’s coastline.

I got the opportunity to tattoo an American Traditional green sea turtle combined with Polynesian tribal inside it.  I love tattooing this stuff because it is simply fun to draw and fun to tattoo.

Polynesian Sigil

Today has been great.  I absolutely love my studio, the way I have it all set up for working on multiple projects, the energy Athena and I have created here, and how well we are doing.  This client was celebrating his wedding, and I made a “Ha” sigil for him.  I always enjoy working with a sigil.

My client wanted a silhouette of a rose on her arm.  I have not tattooed on of these in a long time, it was fun making it simple black.

Flash Day!

It’s Flash day again today.  Being that this is the fourth time I have done this, I knew it was going to be busy, but I had no idea just how crazy it was going to get.  Holy crap I had fun.  Banger tattoos are the bread and butter of the tattoo industry.  All the flash was drawn up ahead of time and set out for everyone to chose when they came in the door.  It was first come, first serve, and this time we had the lobby full and people waiting for their flash tattoo!

Wow, the fourth Flash Day was incredible and much more successful than the last.  I will get the next one set up and post it when I announce the date!  Keep an eye out on our Instagram and Facebook page for the next Flash Day announcement.
