Polynesian Tattoo

It has been a busy month, and I am really looking forward to a day of surfing and chill.  This was my favorite tattoo of the day.  My client owns his own metal decoration business; he makes really detailed doors and windows and whatever the client wants.  He is a real tradesman.  We took a portion of his company’s logo for the turtle shell.  Really fun day today.

Hibiscus Flower on the Neck

This is my first Hibiscus on the neck.  I have tattooed several neck tattoos, so the process is the same, and it was really fun.  My client was in her early 60’s and she was tough as nails.  This was by far my most favorite tattoo of the day.

Sculpting Tool Beach Scene

My client today is a ceramics artist.  We combined her favorite sculpting tool with the beach scene.  I had a really fun day today, doing 13 tattoos.  I worked very late, (I always work late these days) not closing the shop until 10pm.  This was my favorite tattoo of the day.

I picked this as my favorite because I really like sea turtles.

My client comes to the island often, and I will see him again soon for a second session on his arm.  This was a fun tattoo.  The tiki is abstracted like a mask.

Belle Ame

This was a quick walk-in tattoo that I drew on with a sharpie.  I don’t post much lettering, And Athena liked this one and suggested that I post it.  I tattoo lettering every week, mostly a phrase or saying.

Polynesian Shark

Pelagic sharks are just cool.  The white tip shark reef shark is one of my favorites simply because I see them all the time.  The white tip pelagic shark is really pretty cool too.  This was a fun tattoo to do.

Mickey Mouse Autism Ballon

My clients son has autism and loves Mickey Mouse.  She asked for Mickey holding a balloon with the puzzle pieces of the autism symbol so her son can look at it and smile.

Polynesian Turtle

It has been a very good week.  I made 11 tattoos today, this is my favorite of the day.  I really like working on tribal turtles, and I really like working the sigils toward a meaning for the client.

Compassion Sigil

I have focused most of my works of art on sigil work.  Getting the opportunity to work within Buddhist sigils is fantastic.  This is the never ending suffering of existence wrapping both wisdom and compassion into the path.  It should remind the wearer to wisely be compassionate in all things.  I also wear this sigil as a tattoo, however mine is a part of an entire scene.

I tattoo a lot of Plumeria flowers weekly, and I always enjoy the process.  I am pretty comfortable just drawing this flower on with a sharpie and tattooing.
