Octopus

A year ago I made the shark on this guy, and he wanted the octopus this year.  Nice to see so many return clients.  It feels like the entire month was all returns.

Iban Tribal

It is always a treat to work on some old school Iban tribal.  The Iban are a people with a complicated history to their tattoos.  I go into great length of their legends and myths in my upcoming book (shameful plug) which you should buy digitally in 2020 when I release it.
Any way, this was a really fun tattoo to do.

Pineapple

I made two Pineapple tattoos for a couple who were celebrating life together here on Maui.  I like my way of doing these.

Plumeria

I always like to make a Plumeria tattoo, and I am able to do it at least 3 times or more a week.
This on is my favorite of the day.

Polynesian Manta Ray

I do not get to tattoo a lot of Manta Rays.  I like the subject, its just not a common Maui tattoo, and I still don't feel like I have a complete grip of the Manta Ray forms.  As a study, this was a fun tattoo.

Polynesian Tribal

I like to play with the compositions of tribal tattoos.  This tattoo is a matriarchal form about creative beginnings within a matriarchs life as a parent.  It says all of that, but in a different manner, however I am not going to lay out the language for you here today.  My book coming out in a year or so will detail all of that.
