Plumeria

I make a lot of plumeria flower tattoos.  This was my favorite tattoo of the day.

Add-on Hibiscus

My client got the first part of this tattoo done years ago in South Africa.  She always felt that it just ended abruptly and she wanted a hibiscus flower to finish it off.  I love tattooing hibiscus flowers.  I probably tattoo three hibiscus flowers every week.  This was a fun add-on.

A Simple Turtle

This was fast and fun.  A simple tribal sea turtle based on the petroglyphs at Olowalu.  I have hiked up to the petroglyphs a few times, always nice to have an excuse to hike up to see them again.

Tribal Butterly

The butterfly tattoo is really common.  I like doing them, especially with flowers to go with the composition.  I have never been asked to make a tribal butterfly, and I had a good time with this one.

Add-on Polynesian Tribal

My client had an old turtle tattoo and he wanted to encircle it with Polynesian tribal.  It was pretty simple, and I drew it on with a sharpie.

Polynesian Tribal

I like working on feet.  Foot tattoos can be beautiful if you use the shape of the foot to really form the composition.  This tattoo was really fun.  It is language, and I am always tempted to post the language here.  I don’t post the why and what as to the Polynesian language here because I am working on a book for it.  The book is half sketch book, and half language descriptions.  I have no idea when I will release it.  So far it is in e-book format.

Polynesian Tribal

Fairly nice day when I get to complete a section of Polynesian.  I was looking forward to this piece all week.  The client comes back to me every 6 months or so.  We are going to continue this when he arrives next time.
