Hibiscus

I have never been this busy in my life.  I tattoo all day long every day, and it is glorious.  This tattoo was really fast and really fun.  I am still into the black lines in the petals, and I am going to continue this look for a while.  I dig it.

Cover-up Hibiscus

The client wanted me to make a “Nintendo” like hibiscus flower to cover up an older tattoo.  I was asked to not show the original tattoo out of embarrassment for what it was.

Traditional Hibiscus

I love American Traditional tattoos.  When I am asked to mimic a Sailor Jerry tattoo, I am all over it.  This hibiscus is straight from the Sailor Jerry flash.  It is always an honor to work with my families original tattoos.  If life after death was a thing, I bet Jerry’s pissed as hell that his work is copied so many times by so many people after his death.  He created modern tattooing in my opinion, everyone else was just there.

Mahalo Jerry, deal with it.

Hibiscus

I don’t normally tattoo the inner lines with black with my hibiscus flowers.  I like it, maybe I will do this more.  I have been using a colored line in the inside of the petals for what seams like forever; time for a change.

Sea Turtle and Flowers

The client wanted a green sea turtle with a hibiscus and a plumeria inside water and waves with the style of a thinner American traditional tattoo.  This was pretty fun.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus flowers are beautiful.  I have been working on a look for my Hibiscus tattoos.
I enjoy them quite a bit.

Hibiscus

It was really fun in the studio today.  I got to make this Hibiscus tattoo.  I did 11 tattoos today and this Hibiscus is the best of the day.

Hibiscus Flower

Another fun Hibiscus flower tattoo.  Today was a typical day; busy and steady.
This is my favorites of the day.

Add-on Hibiscus

My client got the first part of this tattoo done years ago in South Africa.  She always felt that it just ended abruptly and she wanted a hibiscus flower to finish it off.  I love tattooing hibiscus flowers.  I probably tattoo three hibiscus flowers every week.  This was a fun add-on.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus tattoos are fast becoming one of my favorites to do.  The shop was very busy today, and this is my favorite of the day.

Hibiscus Foot Tattoo

I was lucky enough to get a walk in hibiscus tattoo squeezed into the busy day.  Pretty fun.

Hibiscus Tattoo

This was fast and fun.  A hibiscus tattoo I made on the fly out of older ideas I had drawn.  I tattoo a lot of flowers, and I really like doing it.  I would like to do flowers with everything at some point.
