New Peloponnesian War studies.

Here are some more composition studies for my Peloponnesian War oil painting.  I would like it to be 36" x 60" oil on linen.  I intend to work my technical clean line work with some lose expressionist elements.  

These are simple ink studies and not all of them will be chosen for the final composition.

Compositional elements.

I am working on the abstract ideas for my next piece, The Peloponnesian War.  These quick studies are compositional elements that I plan on using in the total composition.  I won't use all of them, but I will keep the good ones that fit the emotion I am working toward.

I will not start the oil painting until november...

Studies for a figurative.

I am working on a nude figurative for a client this week.  These are a few of the ink improvisation studies I have been playing around with.  

I am still undecided...

...I am just going to have to improve some more until I find what I want.

Three odd studies.

So I spend my days walking around the Museum all day, 8 hours a day.  All I do is read about works of art, write about art, sketch, and come up with new ideas.  I have responsibilities, and they are taken care of, as my primary concern is to work on my craft all day.
